OUR GOALS
In a world that is wondering about the problem of scarce natural resources, atmospheric pollution and global warming, BioXFarm, a young company from Southern Italy, has set as its primary objective the valorization of genuine food products, completely natural and, above all, in line with the principles of sustainable development. People trust more and more to the common sense of the companies so, as a food company, we have decided to put at the base of all our choices the safeguard of biodiversity and environmental resources.
We know how crucial this is and we are determined to do our part.
In the development of Exelien Organic we have totally excluded the use of chemical synthesis substances, enhancing our fields through the application of a cultivation system aimed at full respect for environmental sustainability. We implement specific interventions provided for by the specification of organic production certified by ICEA (Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification).
All nutrients are the result of years of research and selection of the best cultivars in order to never have to chemically add any substance (unlike our competitors), together with superficial soil tillage and fertilization practices with crop residues. Every single phase of the cultivation is monitored and careful, allowing us to guarantee a meticulous agronomic management and to obtain a superior quality product, directly in the field.
Our Location
Our company is located on the Ionian coastal hills of Calabria, an area highly suited to olive growing, by heritage (over five generations of mastery oil) and morphological characteristics of the territory: our olive groves are surrounded by the Mediterranean scrub with oak forests and undergrowth consisting of the typical vegetation of this microenvironment (arboreal spurge, broom, mastic, etc.. ), an extraordinary reserve of biodiversity immersed in one of the cleanest quality areas of Europe (AQI: Air Quality Index <30 = Excellent).
